Last week saw the launch of Carol Feller’s first book which includes 6 beautiful designs based on our Aran Tweed and Soft Donegal ranges. Carol has spent the last 2 years travelling the length and breadth of Ireland researching for the book.  The launch party hosted by THIS IS KNIT in Powerscourt, Dublin was a great success giving all the knitting enthusiasts an opportunity to hear Carol talk about the yarns and patterns. For more information on the book and Carol’s work you can view her website www.stolenstitches.com

Mary McAleese , current President of Ireland is passionate about handknitting and has always enjoyed knitting with our Donegal Tweed collections. For a number of years she has attended the summer Irish Language school “Oideas Gael” based in Glencolmkille .We were delighted to get the opportunity to present her with some of our latest Merino products designed and produced for the Debbie Bliss Luxury Tweed collection. We would like to extend our best wishes to her as outgoing President and hope she enjoys many hours of knitting with the modern designs created using our yarns.
